【About the Program】
Dear fellow Vietnamese, and especially technical intern trainees currently living and working in Japan,
Since the COVID-19 pandemic struck, the Vietnamese Association in Japan (VAJ) has carried out emergency community relief by distributing essential goods free of charge. Though the parcels have been small, they were filled with care, and have helped many of our fellow Vietnamese get through the hardest times.
We are now in the final stage of our 5th relief round, and we hope this will be the last, as Japan’s vaccination program is making encouraging progress.
Based on a recent survey of those who received relief packages, VAJ believes that technical intern trainees have suffered the most and have the greatest need to rebuild their work and lives.
Responding to these needs, and to help our community in Japan — especially technical intern trainees — restore stable lives and work as quickly as possible, the Workers’ Mutual Aid Group (AECNTT) under VAJ’s Community Welfare Committee is launching the action program “Overcome Hardship, Rise Strong,” guided by the motto “Workers who are doing okay help workers in difficulty.”
This action program will begin with a campaign to introduce and assist eligible technical intern trainees (and international students) in applying to the “Skills Training and Job Placement Course” organized by JP-MIRAI.

VAJ is an official member of the JP-MIRAI forum and has been entrusted with assisting applicants through introductions and document preparation. This is a meaningful and entirely non-profit program. If you are interested in receiving our support and referral, please register via the form below.
