Reflections from the Summer 2023 JLPT Course Instructors (Part 2)
😍😍A few lovely words from the instructors of our July 2023 JLPT course😍😍
The kindness of this term’s instructors didn’t end with our previous post. Several other instructors also wanted to share a few thoughts and a few words of encouragement for those who will teach in upcoming terms🥰
👦: “I’m Thiện. This was the fourth time I’ve taught a JLPT preparation course for the Vietnamese Association in Japan.
When I first agreed to teach, I had quite a few worries — would I be able to set aside enough time, would I be able to teach my students something genuinely useful, would my own ability be enough? But once the class actually started, I saw how earnestly and diligently the students were learning, and I was carried along by their energy. I became more diligent myself, looked into things more deeply, so that I’d always be ready to answer their questions. Honestly, what I received was much more than the time I spent teaching.”
👩: “Before I started teaching, I was very worried, because I had no experience at all. Could I really do this? Thankfully, there were always senior instructors walking beside me and supporting me. On top of that, the students prepared so diligently for every class that their effort itself became my motivation each session. By the time the course ended, I had received so much warmth from the students — I was genuinely happy and moved 😊. I hope I can continue alongside the other instructors in the next term.”

The association extends its sincere thanks to all of our instructors for their effort and dedication. We hope this warm, generous spirit continues to spread, so that we may meet many more wonderful people🥰
