Hikone Vietnamese Language Class — August 2026

In August, the Hikone Vietnamese class made another joyful summer memory: Nagashi Sōmen (流しそうめん)! 🎐

After the lessons, the children together experienced catching sōmen noodles as they flowed along the water and enjoying them right on the spot. The classroom became lively with the children’s laughter.

Through lessons and group activities like these, we hope that the Vietnamese class will be not only a place where children learn their mother tongue, but also a place to meet friends and keep beautiful memories as they grow up in Japan. 🌿
