Notice on Temporarily Pausing Round 4 Relief Registrations
Dear compatriots,
Within 24 hours of announcing Round 4 of the “Community Relief — Wuhan Virus Response” program, the Welfare Department received more registrations than the volume of relief supplies the Association can mobilize for this round.
As mentioned in the original notice, since relief supplies are limited, we are pausing registrations until further notice.
The fact that registrations exceeded what the Association had projected (and what we can currently mobilize) is both unexpected on our side and a stark reflection of how heavily this pandemic continues to weigh on our community.
On behalf of the Association, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to the donors who have stood with us throughout this round of relief.
Sincerely,
Vietnamese Association in Japan
President Nguyen Phuong Khanh
