When donating (one-time or monthly): name, email, credit card info (processed by Stripe), address (optional)
Volunteer registration: name, contact details, residence area, fields of interest, skills/experience
Inquiries: name, email, message content

Donation confirmation and receipt (領収書) issuance
Activity reports, newsletters, thank-you letters
Volunteer activity coordination
Responding to inquiries
Communications necessary for VAJ's operations

3. Third-party sharing

VAJ does not share personal information with third parties without your consent, except for the following entrusted service providers:

Stripe Payments Japan K.K. — credit card processing
GMO Aozora Net Bank — bank transfer processing
Tax / legal professionals when required by law

4. Credit card information

Card payments are processed directly on Stripe's hosted pages. VAJ does not store, transmit, or access card numbers, security codes, or expiry dates.

5. Cookies and access analytics

The site uses Cloudflare (CDN) access logs for service improvement. These are processed as aggregated statistics and do not identify individuals.

6. Security measures

VAJ applies SSL/TLS encryption, access controls, two-factor authentication, and other technical measures to prevent leakage, loss, or alteration of information.

7. Disclosure, correction, deletion requests

You may request disclosure, correction, or deletion of the personal information VAJ holds about you. Please contact us via the information below.
